Richard entered the decontamination chamber and underwent the normal precautions to prevent microbes from entering or leaving the lab. When all the steps were complete, he walked into the throttling atmosphere of the laboratory. He was alone: it was late, everyone else was either asleep or otherwise engaged. All the better. He didn’t want to be disturbed right now.
He crossed the room to the large tank where the creature was being held. It was in anesthetic sleep.
And that's when the proctologist fainted.

in need of a break. the last few days have been magnificent in so many ways (mostly in those involving women). but even as good things happen, i cannot shake my usual negativity--and the newer version of it that has surfaced. in truth, i'm exhibiting a much stronger lack of personal faith than normal and cannot help but visualize whatever i'm pursuing failing miserably, most likely in flames. hope it all sorts itself out in a manner that doesn't cause me any pain, as i do like the company of cally quite a bit. you don't know who i'm talking about, but you will soon.
